What things should I bring to a dorm for junior-senior year?

Late Bloss

I'm going to a boarding school for junior and senior years of high school and I'm wondering the essentials?

Answer
â¢Bed Set. (Sheets, pillows, pillow covers, blankets, etc.)
â¢Desk.
â¢Supplies. (Pencils, pens, crayons, markers, scissors, tape, glue, paper clip, paper, notebooks, etc.)
â¢Laptop. (It's portable and you can use it anywhere.)
â¢Cell-phone. (Gets you in touch with friends, family, and good for emergencies.)
â¢Camera. (You can send pictures to your family of you and your friends. I'm sure they would be highly appreciative of that.)
â¢Mini-Fridge. (You can get a cheap one for somewhere between $50-$100, and there always good if you need a snack.)
â¢Bathroom supplies. (Shampoo, soap, conditioner, towels, q-tips, cotton balls, mini-first aid kit, etc.)
â¢Kitchen Supplies. (If you have a little kitchen section of your dorm, be sure to get silverwear, plates, cups, bowls, containers, etc.)
â¢Food. (Fill your dorm with your favorite foods!)
â¢Clothes. (Shirts, underwear, pants, shorts, jackets, shoes, bags, bookbags, etc.)
â¢Entertainment. (iPod, game system like a Nintendo DS or Xbox360, anything that keeps you busy on boring days. Little gadgets, anything.)
â¢Money. (Always bring some cash, and get cash mailed or wired, in case of emergencies, and just for the daily use. )
â¢Decorations. (Posters, furniture, chairs, plants, anything that fits your personality.)
â¢Photo album of your friends&family back home. (Always great to look at when you miss someone back home.)
â¢Something that reminds you of home. (And last but not least, something that reminds you of home. A picture of your family, a stuffed animal you played with when you were younger, ANYTHING that reminds you of home. Because when you get home-sick, you'll always have that special something, and believe me, you'll feel a lot better.)

I hope I helped, and good luck in high school! :)
