I am going to be reupholstering my dining room chairs. I was wondering what the difference in using staples and tacks is? You won't be able to see the tacks or staples.

You'll get a better finished product with a staple gun you can pull the fabric tightly a just shoot a staple in place and your corners will hold better too.Think about getting and electric staple gun/brad shooter you can pick one up for about $20.00 at Lowe's/home depot stores It'll make the job so much easier too -you'll be surprised how many uses it actually has -and the brad shooter is absolutely indispensable for putting up curtain rods shades ,blinds and anything else that uses those tiny nails

HELP, there is mold on my chair!?

i just picked up a leather dining chair i had been storing in a friends basement. the chair was kept near a dryer and was covered with a sheet, when i removed the sheet the entire chair including the legs had mold on it.
im wondering the best way to clean this, and will it come back?

microban spray from home depot then get ya self a good upholstry cleaner then fan dry for a while
