its old, the wallpaper is flocked wallpaper, kinda retro, and been trying to convince my mother for me to ripp it off and paint it maybe.


replacing all the dining room chairs is def a start! :) but expensive so want to see others thoughts

i was thinking black might stand out to much but to me looks really modern

I like the black chair better, but I'm looking at the wallpaper and liking it's potential. Think Ikea..... I'd paint the white that beige in the background of the wallpaper, take out the curtains, stain the bottom of the wall a darker brown, take out those pictures and put up newer pictures that are more substantial; so the wallpaper is more of a trim. Not sure what your budget is for tables and chairs but it would be great if they all matched. Just some thoughts.

Btw, the color orange supposedly stimulates the appetite.
