a) we entertain in the living room only, so we have a very minimalistic decor with furniture of modern contemporary...nothing like an ensemble..each piece is unique. (divans, chaise lounge, low glass coffe table)
b) in the dining room we eat "formally"...there is only a 12 person marble table and 12 chairs. It was not a set. We mixed it. Chairs are wheeled, high back and clothed with skirting. All furniture was designed from 1930-1960......

What kind of table would you want? Round, square, long, short, rustic, modern, high up, or not? What chairs would you look for? Comfy, stylish, neutral, colorful, girly, hipster etc? What would you decorate the walls with? What colors would you use? What lighting would you have? What windows would you like, if there are windows ar all? Would you want it open, or more closed off? What other accessories would you include? What else would make this special to you? What makes this the perfect dining room? I need ideas!! Thanks

Plan your dinning room to overlook the garden. You can even irregularly put cushions so that after having food you can take rest. If you want to can give a cosy touch to an otherwise unused corner of the room with a modern chaise.
