Q. i had bought a dining table with four chairs, the tbale i realized had a big scracth and was just glued on, i called them up and they said that the company that levitz got it from was from toronto and went bankrupt, so they would give me full refund and all i had to do was go to any location in NYC (*since i live there) and they would swipe my credit card and give me a refund. I went and they didnt. Ive been on the phone with them since last month and they said they could only give me store credit. Three weeks ago i accepted and they said that i could go any time to get me credi which is close to $2000, i went today and they said that Levitz has gone bankrupt and the only choice we have is to fight the court, plz help me

American Express would reverse the charges. If you didn't charge it to an AMEX card, call your credit card company and find out if they will do the same. I know that some Visa cards will as well.
Tell your credit card company that they basically stole money from you by not delivering the product as ordered and yet they charged you anyway for it. They may refund your money and go after Levitz themselves.
