I have a dresser I would like to re-paint. It already has white paint on it. I also have a wooden rocking chair someone painted black and the black is coming off... like litterally when I wipe it down with a cloth. So I am looking for really great paint for both. Thanks!

college student moving out of parents house and in need of furniture HELP!!?

I'm moving out in January and i'm in desperate need of furniture and basics for my first small apartment. If you have anything that you are willing to sell let me know or if you know of any cheap places i'm open to suggestions. Remember im a college student and in a budget.

i faced this same problem when i moved into my college apartment last year. go to the salvation army. seriously, dont let pride get in the way. i was able to get myself a kitchen table with 6 chairs for $40 (and i mean nice wooden furniture worth WAY more than $40), i got couches for around the same price.
check it out, it's worth the time. if you can't find matching furniture you can always get matching covers. There is no cheaper way other than to look on www.craigslist.com for cheap or even free stuff.
